PENGARUH USIA MENARCHE TERHADAP USIA MENOPAUSE PADA WANITA MENOPAUSE DI DESA JINGKANG BABAKAN KACAMATAN AJIBARANG KABUPATEN BANYUMAS TAHUN 2012
Abstract
Introduction: Many factors related to the age of menopause. According Kasdu (2002), several factors, namely age at first menstruation, stress, use of contraceptive methods, family status (such as marital status, number of children and child-bearing age last), family history, occupation, income, smoking, and drinking alcohol. According Kasdu (2002), the younger a first menstruation, the older or the longer he is entering the age of menopause.
Objective: Describing the influence of menarche age to menopause age in postmenopausal women in the village of Babakan-Jingkang-Ajibarang-Banyumas in 2012.
Methods: This study is an analytical survey with a retrospective approache. The sample used is total sampling, and the respondents of this study were 76 postmenopausal women with simple regretion linear analise.
Results: The result showed that the average age of menarche is 14 years old and the average age of menopause is 49 years old. The Sign. value based on the calculated value of 0.001 is ? = 0.05 so that it can be concluded that the Sign. Value is <0.05. Hence, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The correlation value (Rxy) is 0.373 less than 0.5. So, it can be concluded that the influence of menarche age to menopause age in menopausal women is categorized weak.With regretion modle y = 57,760 – 0,643x (y=age menopause and x = age menarche).
Conclusion: There is an influence of menarche age to menopause age in menopausal women.
Suggestion: Health forces are expected to provide health education and comprehensive services to the human life cycle especially women, because they suffer two important things which are the specificity of women namely menarche and menopause.
